Ah yes, the conversation about the ex-president has moved from “Should we?” to “How can we not?”

His overwhelming criminality done in plain sight is catching up with him.

The crimes are so blatant, and the defense so non-existent that it is hard for any lawyer to see a way that the American system of justice can do anything but follow the law and indict.

The defense by the Trump lawyers in the case about the documents was “Well, we don’t know what’s in the documents that we say the ex-president declassified so how can we say whether they were declassified?” and here’s the killer, “We aren’t going to tell you whether they were declassified or not. If you want to know what we think then charge are client criminally.”

The lawyer that Trump paid $3 Million out of the fund he scammed people out of (not his own money, but the money he conned people out of) – that lawyer said nothing. Smart. The other lawyers also would not say if anything was declassified because if they did and the papers weren’t declassified, that could be a crime and they could lose their law licenses and go to jail. To quote Meatloaf, “I’d do anything for you, but I won’t do that.”

The other striking thing reported about the hearing in Brooklynn was that the judge started on time, was respectful of both sides, and asked logical legal questions. The legal folks who have been following the proceedings all breathed a sigh of relief. Logic! The Law! Reason! These principles all returned after the hiatus in Florida. One remark was, “There was an adult in the room.” Another commented about “adult supervision.”

You get the point.

Donald, for the first time in his life, might … might … be held accountable.

And to add to his legal woes the woman who has been after him for sexual abuse has gotten clearance to go after him.

Aw gee, now he’s being sued by the New York AG for fraud. He is being charged $250 million in fines and would be banned from doing business or loans from any banks registered in New York. That’s about every bank in the world. And…and he and his children would be permanently banned from doing business in New York.

Wow. The list of fraudulent things goes on and on. Hum. Not good.

I hope it finally catches up to him. I am staying away from the news for one week as prescribed by my therapist. My anxiety is so bad I finally had to seek help. The therapist finally had an opening so once a week I teleconference with her. The anxiety is from exactly what you might suspect. Trump!
His so called “witch hunt” is well deserved. It’s about time he is held to account for all his lies and traitorism.

This morning’s news from NYC was glorious! Almost the whole damn family named in the suit! Now we wait to see what Fani has to say in the Georgia case and hopefully we’ll hear from Merrick in the near future. And I laughed my ass off at how badly that Special Master backfired. It’s been a good couple of days.
