Day 831 Wednesday April 17, 2019

565 Days to the 2020 election and 643 Days to Inauguration Day

I have shocking news. (NOT!)

William Barr is a liar. (FOR SURE.)

Proven, verifiable.

Yeah, I know. You’re shocked.

Want details?

No? Too bad, you’re getting them.

Yeah, see it’s now come out that he’s lied before about stuff like this, and like Trump, he doesn’t even change his playbook. In fact, he’s using the same phrases that he used before, doing the same schtick that he did before.

“Oh you can’t see the report but I’ll give you my summary.”

His summary before was total BS. Is there any reason to believe this time is any different? (Answer: NO.)

Back when George H. W. Bush had just become president he had said he wished someone would go in and depose Noriega of Panama. He implied that the U.S. would help. (I have to wonder about all this because Noriega had been working for the CIA, which – like Sadam, who also had worked for the CIA – must have given him a false sense of security. Bush had been head of the CIA. In fact, the funniest sign in Washington for me is the one you see going south on the George Washington Parkway (that’s along the Potomac River, inside the beltway) “The George H. W. Bush Center for Intelligence.” I’ve thought a lot of things about the Bushs, but that ain’t one of the traits that comes to mind.)

Sorry, sidebar distraction, where was I? Oh yes, Noriega. So HW had been saying he wished the military in Panama would overthrow Noriega. They tried it. Got no help from the U.S. and they failed. Bush looked like an idiot. Then a few months later there was this story that the U.S. had come up with a change in policy that said they could go into another country and arrest someone who had done something criminal against U.S. law and that the foreign country didn’t have to be notified. You know, like if you wanted to arrest the head of a country on drug charges. You wouldn’t call him up and say, “Hey, bad boy, bad boy, don’t you know we’re coming for you.” (Should be a song lyric. It is? Damn, I’m good.)

So that’s what Bush did. Who wrote the memo? Why Mr. Barr.

Would he show said memo to anyone? No.

But…but, he would give a summary of its principle conclusions.

Hum, same wording he’s using now about the Mueller Report.

Turns out most of what he said in his summary was a lie. To be fair, he only lied about the big stuff and left out the most important details. You know stuff like “The memo is only about domestic law.” In fact, the memo was all about international law.

Okay, so Lawrence covered it night before last as news was breaking about it, and Rachel went into depth last night (4/16/19 show). They are both pointing to the same reporting by Ryan Goodman. It’s on a website called “justsecurity.com” Here’s the link to the article:

https://www.justsecurity.org/63635/barrs-playbook-he-misled-congress-when-omitting-parts-of-justice-dept-memo-in-1989/

It’s the same old crap. He’s pulling it again. Wasn’t once enough for Judas? Or are we at the Lucy and the football stage?

Okay, enough on that.

Pete Buttigieg. Very impressive. What I like about him is: he’s smart; he’s thought about stuff and knows what he wants to do*; he’s taking a long term view**.

* As opposed to Donald Trump, or Howard Shultz who are trying to pull the old “I’ll get really smart people and put them in a room” garbage. Or the other candidates, who seem to be still thinking about it or saying vanilla wishy washy stuff.

** By long term I mean he’s looking out to 2040 and 2050. Wow, a politician with a view longer than the next election.

Next. Bernie Sanders went on Fox News. Yeah. I wish more Dem candidates would do that. Apparently, when Bernie polled the audience about Medicare for All old Brent Baier was surprised that most of the audience liked the idea. Wow. I guess if more Dem candidates want to come on they probably won’t let them. I mean, why let reality seep in now? It would disturb their phony chi.

And lastly (unless I think of something else) dark matter may be fuzzy. It may be that it is made up of lots of super light stuff that doesn’t interact with light but has a gravitational pull. If this is true, then we have to look at a really wide field of stuff – like light years wide. They’ve looked. So far nothing. Maybe, it’s not really light stuff?

Notre Dame. It’s a shame. I wonder if this has spurred anyone else to ask about other churches and cathedrals, “Maybe we should raise money now for a fire suppression system?” That might be cheaper than rebuilding. Just saying. It comes back to that point I made about various entities (Constantinople, The Roman Republic, etc.) that people didn’t maintain, defend, and support them because “they had always been there” so they thought they always would be. Surprise.

In another weird (not so weird) twist of history. I always wonder, “when did a particular group realize allying themselves with one group against an enemy wasn’t such a good idea?” You know, like when did the indians with Cortez realize they were screwed?

Or how about not supporting your own team out of jealousy? My favorite example of that is Hannibal. He crossed the Alps came down on Rome. Defeated the Romans in battle, handing them the biggest defeat they had ever had. He sent word home to Carthage saying he needed supplies. Those back home were jealous of Hannibal and his family (who were very rich from their mines in Spain.) So they didn’t send any help. Not strong enough to take on the city of Rome directly, Hannibal wandered around what is now the Italy. Finally, the Romans got the upper hand, sacked and burned Carthage to the ground and put salt in the ground so nothing could grow there for a long time.

But the Romans did the same stupid thing later on. They were being invaded by – I forget: Atila? Visigoths? Some group. There was a general who said, “Hey, we gotta defend ourselves. Help me.”

What did they do? They killed him. Then when the invading hordes showed up they said, “Oh my, I declare, what ever shall we do?”

Good god.

Help me.

Help your fellow man.

Meanwhile Canada ruled in favor of people over religion. Mike Huckabee says LGBTQ folks are the biggest threat to civilization, or some such. (Go back to playing the bass Mike.)

In a startling revelation I realize that black holes and Donald Trump have a lot in common. Both spin at very high speed, both suck in a lot of energy and give little back, both throw out huge swaths of streaming crap that has been torn to shreds. The big advantage of black holes is they are far away and you can’t see them.

And lastly, there are three commercials I really like. Two are the Google ads: the one with the two boys sitting on the edge of the bathtub with their faces covered in crayons or marker ink and a mother asking “Who thought this was a good idea?” and the older kid nods back to the younger one who covers his face with both hands. – love it.

Then there’s the Google ad that starts with all the chewed up stuff on the floor and the camera pans to a dog with his head leaning agains the side of a dresser and the off camera voice asks, “Did you eat all you doggie treats?”

Love both of those ads, but now I have another one. It’s an ad for an animated movie. Something about a friendly abominable snowman or some such. The ad has a loudmouth character saying to said A.S. “Throw me out of this hole” The fellow is thrown and reaches close to the top of the curved icy pit where he smacks into the wall, slides down, and is in a heap at the bottom of the wall. The friendly abominable snowman creature says in a chipper friendly voice, “That didn’t work so well. Let’s try again.”

I don’t know why, but I couldn’t stop laughing.

PS A young Alex Kinnaird with Gary Gait, the best lacrosse player of his generation and perhaps all time. Gary had just given a stunning workshop and demonstration for the boys. Gary and his brother had perfected a come from behind the crease shot that involved jumping over the six foot radius circle (ie The Crease) rolling their body to face the goal and making an underhanded shot while then landing outside the restricted area.

PPS Alex is now a little taller (6’5″) with a little less hair.

Day 830 Tuesday April 16, 2019

566 Days to the 2020 election and 644 Days to Inauguration Day

Yesterday Notre Dame burned down.

850 years it stood.

No one thought it could burn.

It had survived both World Wars.

No one thought to put in a fire suppression system.

It had stood for 850 years.

The Roman Republic was never going to fall because to those who were there, it had always been there.

Constantinople has always been.

Until it was not.

Do not think that America, The United States of America, will always be here.

At least not if we don’t defend it, and it is under attack.

It is under attack from without.

It is under attack from within.

There have been those who have chipped away.

They have always been there, but now?

Now we have those who want to take big chunks.

We have those who are trying to say what they are doing is not what they are doing.

Be forewarned. Be forearmed. Defend this nation.

Remember Notre Dame.

Day 829 Monday April 15, 2019

567 Days to the 2020 election and 645 Days to Inauguration Day

You know what today is don’t you?

It’s my wife’s birthday! Yeah.

( What? Tax Day? Really? Oh. Hum.)

Because of the strangeness of this day in that for me, it’s a time of celebration and for all of us it’s a time of some anguish, I thought I’d take a slightly different tact on today’s screed. . .

It all started a long time ago … at least last week seemed like a long time ago. We were having Shelby’s brother’s family over for dinner, a thing we try to do once a week. Their youngest, Claire, helped me get the deck furniture out of the shed and arranged on the deck. She’s in the first grade. As part of a learning experience I had her use the key to unlock the shed. A day or so later I couldn’t find the key. This isn’t unusual. I keep the key on a pegboard hook in the garage. It wasn’t on the hook. No problem, that means I left it in a pocket and forget to put it on the hook.

Not in any shirt pocket or pants pocket that I wore. At least, not the three to seven times I looked. (or as George Carlin used to say about lost things, “Did you look in your pockets again? Maybe it came back?” No luck.) I then started fantasizing about where it might have gotten to. Maybe it fell out of one of my pockets and is now in the bottom of my laundry hamper? No.

Maybe it’s just mixed in with the laundry and hasn’t made it to the bottom of the hamper? No.

When was the last time I remember using it? …

And that’s when I remembered – Claire! and the deck furniture.

I texted over to her house. I even stopped by. We searched all of her pockets. She found her dad’s shed key. The one he paid a locksmith $150 to replace because it was a deadbolt. Yeah, that one fell out and was in the plastic overflow tub of their washer.

With the help of Claire’s imagination and suggestions of where it might be or have gotten to, a whole world of low percentage possibilities were envisioned. I cursed myself for not putting that bronze patina tiny key on a bright ribbon because if had fallen into the grass near where Claire had staged the chairs to go up on the deck from the lawn it would be very hard to see. I wondered if it was made of steel and could I sweep the lawn with a magnet, and did I have a large magnet to do such a job?

I thought about going the bolt cutter route. I looked at videos. You can break a cheap padlock like I have with two open ended wrenches. Well, at least the guy in the video could. I couldn’t. I moved onto trying lock picking. Hey, might as well learn a new skill. There’s a video showing how to pick such a lock with two paperclips. Once again, the guy in the video did it – repeatedly. Me? Not so much. I came to an important conclusion. You have to know what you are doing. Hum. I wish our president had thought about that as a qualification before he ran for office, but he obviously didn’t (okay, that’s the only political thing I’m throwing in this screed – carry on.)

I went to the auto parts store, “Do you have lock picking tools?” Answer, “No, you have to get them on line.” (That’s nice, but the grass won’t wait that long*.)

*In an effort to be “transparent” (that’s the latest buzzword for being honest) and in an effort of full disclosure (that’s the latest buzz word for “explaining.” (Not “Man ‘splainin’ “ just explaining stuff. 🙂 ) ) The lawn mower is in the shed. To be able to cut the grass I have to be able to get to the lawn mower, to get to the mower I have to be able to get into the shed, to be able to get into the shed I have to be able to open the door, to be able to open the door I have to be able to unlock the lock on the door to the shed. (or unscrew the screws on the hasp, or use the bolt cutter which I will have to borrow from Claire’s dad – Yes, all these options are/were/have been considered. )

Finally, I decided, I wanted to learn a bit more about how to open pesky locks. I ordered a set of tools. They wouldn’t be here in time to help with this lock, because by then the grass and weeds would be higher than our knees, but at least I could work on my new desired skill.

Which brings me to Derek Hough. If you don’t know who he is you haven’t watched “Dancing With the Stars.” He and his sister, Julianne, are examples of what really really good genes can do. They are both gorgeous – as in “drop dead, take your breath away” gorgeous. (Now some people might say, “Well, you know I really didn’t like when they did such and such” or something like that. To which I say, “What? Sorry. You were saying?” ) Derek came to town last night and had a dance show at the Altria Theater. Richmond’s famous large big old theater, formerly known as The Mosque (so named back when arabs were considered genies and riding on carpets.) He filled it about 3/4 full, which is saying something because the only publicity I saw was the hand bill I was given when leaving the same theater a few months before when the Dancing with The stars troupe came to town.

The show was full of energy and effect. The dancers were flexible and athletic. Derek did a routine from Singin’ in The Rain. He said his dancers were so young (20) they didn’t know that movie. What? How can you be a dancer and not know that movie? OMG! Derek is old – 33. Yeah, old enough that ever female in the audience (which was 3/4 of the audience) was screaming for him, like we were at an Elvis revival show. (Hum, did I just mix religion and rock and roll? I think I did. I like it.)

The show was fun, energetic (Did I say that already?), and had a great positive feeling to it.

We left happy. I was escorting my wife, my mother-in-law, and our new neighbor Gwen.

While we were waiting to exit the parking lot an interesting thing happened. The lot is five stories. We were on the top level. It takes 15 or 20 minutes to empty. Once our level started to move I was able to back up a bit and turn to go forward and come in line with the exiting traffic by crossing a series of now empty parking spaces. I was inching to get in line and beside one of those giant SUVs. The ladies in my car said the woman in the SUV had rolled down her passenger side window. I rolled down my window. She looked (down) on me and said, “Uh huh, that’s not happening.”

She then rolled up her widow the hulking piece of crap she was in lumbered forward and I in my fuel efficient save the Earth Prius fell in behind.

I have never had such an experience before. I wondered how she felt as her vehicle drove on. I thought of many great retorts. I wished my father-in-law was with us. He could have gotten out of our car, run forward, and given that woman a little bit of what-for while they waited to exit the parking lot. At one point after leaving the lot these folks were in the lane beside us and I thought they were going to have to move into our lane. Unfortunately. they didn’t. Well, it wasn’t happening even if they did need to move over. (Uh huh, not happening.)

Then I thought of a variant on a Johnny Carson curse, “May the spit of a thousand camels be upon your face.” etc. etc. etc.

Which brings me back to the reason I started writing about all this in the first place. (Actually, I should have mentioned this before now, but forgot.)

Two things: 1) Before leaving to go to the theater Shelby asked me if I had the tickets. I assured her I did. I went to the place where I keep all tickets and they weren’t there. I didn’t panic. At least, not at that moment. I methodically went through every conceivable piece of paper and possible place in my office they might be. To say my office is a mess is an understatement. I’m amazed I can find anything. I had started a massive clean up and organization effort for the third time just last week, which included taking most of the stuff out of the drawer where the tickets should be. Surely, the tickets are in with everything that I took out of the drawer.

No.

Maybe, they fell out of everything that I took out and fell on another pile of stuff?

No.

Okay, mother-in-law has puled up, we are within an hour and a half of time to leave. (My thinking now is – I can spend whatever I need to at the box office and get more seats – unless they’re sold out…)

Soon the neighbor will be over and I’ll have to confess. “I can’t find the tickets.” I’m sure worse things have happened to me, but this is pretty bad. Not real real bad, but pretty bad.

Shelby is chatting with her mom, downstairs, I’ll have to ask her. But I don’t want Brenda to panic. I’ll have to signal Shelby.

“Come here.”, “Who me?”, “Yes, you. Come here” Follow me upstairs. “What’s wrong? You look worried.”, “I can’t find the tickets. Is there any chance I gave them to you?”

She goes to her folder. Looks way down and pulls out the envelope. Of course I gave them to her! Why would I hold onto them? I give her stuff like that so things like I just went through don’t happen.

Here’s comes our neighbor. We sit in the living room and talk. I’m on the short sofa and as we get up to leave I push myself off the cushion. I feel something. It’s a small piece of metal. It’s the shed key! Claire must have put it in her pocket, come in her to the sofa, which she uses as a jungle gym, rolled around on the top back and the key must have fallen out of her pocket at that time. I immediately put a gold twist tie on it.

So now the lawn can get cut.

Yeah, that’s happening. (What a great birthday present for Shelby!)

Day 827 Saturday April 13, 2019

569 Days to the 2020 election and 647 Days to Inauguration Day

And the hits just keep on coming!

Time to Choose Sides

It’s weird times. We have a president who has the ability to infect everyone around him with whatever it is that makes people do illegal or practically illegal things. He encourages it. He’s a sociopath by any definition. He has no sympathy or empathy, etc. etc. etc. Look up the traits of a sociopath and I’ll bet you will find every trait describes Donald Trump.

It’s sad for us to watch him, and it’s dangerous for the nation to have him in charge. The amount of harm he has done to the nation, the world, and the environment is enormous.

There was a clip being played earlier this week of John Kerry on Capital Hill. A Republican Congressman who has two degrees from MIT in engineering was putting down Kerry because his degree was not a science degree and therefore his reasoning was he wasn’t a real scientist and therefore shouldn’t be talking about climate change. They got into a discussion about parts per million of carbon. This guy said to Kerry that John had picked 800,000 years and the parts per million because it bolstered Kerry’s claim about lower carbon ppm, but if you went back further the ppm was much higher. To which I immediately thought, “Yeah? And if you went back even further the planet had no free oxygen and none of us would be able to breath.”

It was a bogus argument, based on a fallacious assumption (because you don’t have a science degree doesn’t mean you aren’t a scientist.) Neil deGrasse Tyson put it best I think, “Science is in search of the truth.” If you are in search of the truth you might be a scientist, and if you use the scientific method, which has proven to be the vest way of getting at the truth you are a scientist. Q.E.D.

Scientists collect evidence and postulate why it is. They then try to prove that what they postulated is correct. That is what Kerry was doing in that hearing. Saying here’s the evidence, therefore …

What the Republican Congressman was doing was an ad hominem attack on Kerry. To which Kerry responded, “You aren’t serious?”

But of course he was. I have to wonder, “How does a really smart engineer (this guy has the bon vides to be called that) make such an ass of himself?” He has joined the Jim Jordan club of idiotic verbal self immolation.

Then we get to Bill Barr. A man whom some say is a good lawyer. I never thought so. Not after he recommended to Papa Bush to pardon everyone in Iran-Contra (Except the guy who ran the arms, played in the movie by Tom Cruise. His picture was plastered on national TV by Reagan, thus letting Pablo Escobar know exactly who had betrayed him and thus signing that fellow’s death sentence. He was machine gunned down.)

Barr besides not releasing the Mueller report has now claimed there was spying on the Trump campaign, which is exactly what Trump, Fox News, and Sean Hannity have been saying.

Where is that Congressman who was interviewing Kerry? Why isn’t he grilling Barr? “Where Mr. Barr is your evidence?” (“Oh it’s your belief? Not the FBI, but the intelligence community more broadly? What agency or agencies? Do you believe court ordered wire taps is spying? What exactly are you saying? You are a lawyer aren’t you? Do you consider making unfounded claims to the Congress under oath a good idea?” etc. etc. etc.)

The really frightening thing about all this is that the things Trump is saying and Barr is saying can be traced directly to right wing talking points, which lemme tell you – ain’t based on fact, evidence, or anything else of substance.

Then we get to Sam Patten. A minot player in this criminal activity, but a very connected one. He’s pals with Roger Stone, Konstantine Kiliminik, worked with Paul Manafort on the shady Ukraine stuff with the Russian backed dictator of that country, funneled illegal foreign contributions to the Trump Inaugural Committee, didn’t register as a foreign lobbyist, lied to the FBI and to Congress. He got sentenced. He got three years probation.

Why? Because of his great cooperation. What cooperation? Well, we don’t know. It’s all secret. It deals with “on-going investigations.” What investigations? We don’t know. They are secret. What? (Rinse and repeat.)

I hope this is a response to Trump’s “Don’t worry, I’ll pardon you” tactic (Did you see he told someone in DHS to go ahead and break the law and he’ll pardon them?****)

**** WTF? As one of the talking heads pointed out yesterday, for Trump the law is just an inconvenience, and impediment to what he wants to do. It doesn’t mean he won’t do it. It means he has to figure out a way around the law.

Then there is the overall effect of Trump playing “box of chocolates” with his appointees. He likes “acting” folks because he can move them around without Congressional oversight. The problem is that acting folks don’t get staffs and stuff that appointed people do. In this administration you don’t know when you’ll be fired or moved, so you keep your head down. Also, if you are stupid enough to do something, like what the president said, you realize that if there’s outrage (especially from Rush, or Fox and Friends, or Sean), he’ll hang you out to dry. So what happens? What is the result of this? Well, the heads of agencies are acting, the second in command is acting or not there, same with the third level. This means the agency is really being run by the career people who have been there for years and years (and know what they are doing.) This is exactly what the Steve Bannons of the world say is “the Deep State.” So Trump in his game of pawns has strengthen the Mandarins that make the government work. Except for the wall, that he’s making his mess.

Speaking of the wall, Trump is trying to figure out a way to have the military do stuff at the wall. He told the DHS guy to go ahead and do something illegal and he’d pardon him. How would you like whether or not you go to jail dependent on this sociopathic liar telling you he’ll pardon you after you commit the crime? Ask Mikey Cohen? What if Fox and Friends don’t like it?

The struggle continues.

Day 826 Friday April 12, 2019

570 Days to the 2020 election and 648 Days to Inauguration Day

So much has happened in the last few days that it’s hard to keep track of it all, but I feel we must for fear that if we don’t we will forget and think that what is happening is normal for our country and the world. If we do not stand up and remember and call out what is happening it will become “the new normal.”

The kinds of things that are going on are not new. We’ve seen this before. It was the same cast of characters. Actually, it was their parents or grandparents, but the motivations are the same: power and control.

George Orwell was so outraged by the behavior he saw in the world and specifically to The Spanish Civil War that he wrote “1984” in 1949. Pablo Picasso was so moved by the suffering of his people at the hands of the fascist Franco aided and abetted by Hitler that he painted “Guernica” in 1937. Let us be clear, the people that helped the Fascists of the 1930s that helped Franco, Mussolini, and Hitler were the parents of the Koch brothers and their ilk. They wrap themselves in patriotism and hatred, but their motivation is power and control. They believe they know what is best – for them (screw you.) We are seeing this play out around the world and in this country.

These people are not interested in “fair” or “legal.” They are interested in getting rich and staying in power to protect their wealth. Period. They will resort to any means possible to do so.

The other day I was thinking about when I was a kid and we’d play Monopoly with other kids. Sometimes their was a kid that cheated. They would steal money from the bank (ie the extra money not doled out.) They’d do it when you went to the bathroom, or they’d steal your money so you would lose. (You’d learn to take your money with you, but they’d steal from the bank.) If you’d call them out on it they’d either deny it, say, “So what?”, or they’d say their wasn’t a rule against it.

I have to wonder – Are all the people Trump hires Monopoly cheaters? Steve Mnuchin for sure. What about Bill Barr? I’d say he’d only take a little from the bank when you were in the bathroom. Trump? He’d take it while you were watching, deny it, and say so what?

Egads.

Okay, news of the last few days:

Trump’s older sister, the Federal judge retired. Why? She was being investigated for a tax fraud scam that she and her younger brother (the president) had perpetrated for years to siphon money from their father’s estate and not pay taxes. By retiring the inquiry ended. ( WTF? )

William Barr, under oath said he believed “spying” did occur during the 2016 election. Specifically, against the Trump campaign. Then he tried to say he didn’t mean spying what he meant was spying, but in weasel words. This is a talking point of the right wing lunatic fringe, also known as Fox News and president Trump and his toadies. There was investigations of the Trump campaign trying to figure out what the Russians were doing. There was opposition research done by a hired gun for Republicans before Trump got the nomination. That group investigated all the public records they could find on Trump. What they couldn’t understand or find much on was Trump and Russia. Trump was spending a lot of time in Russia, yet had little to show for it. They turned to the leading British expert on Russia and asked him to sniff around. From that investigation came the Steele Dossier. When Trump got the nomination, the Republican opposition no longer wanted to pay for the research so the firm peddled it to the Democrats who paid for the ongoing opposition research.

There was no spying on the Trump campaign. There was an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and trying to make contact with that campaign but there was no spying.

If William Barr does not know this then what can we conclude? If he does know this then what can we conclude. Either he’s an idiot or he’s a toady for Trump. Either way he’s not fit to be Attorney General. Just like he wasn’t fit the last time and told Papa Bush to forgive all the criminals in Iran-Contra.

We are now at an inflection point where the forces of the cheaters are coming in contact with those of us left who believe in the Constitution and the Rule of Law. It is not clear who will win out.

Steve Mnunchin has not released Trump’s tax returns to the head of The Ways and Means Committee. Not that Mnunchin should be involved; he shouldn’t, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting in the middle of this. There might be jail time involved. I’d love to see that. But we are at the point where the Secretary of the Treasury is getting in the way of the IRS Commissioner, whose job it is under law, to give up the tax returns. What will happen is not clear.

Meanwhile Julian Assange was kicked out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London and immediately arrested. He is being asked to be extradited to the U.S. on a charge of helping Chelsea Manning steal stuff from a database. If he is to be charged with anything else it must be done before he is extradited. That’s the way international law works. Will the Justice Department do that? Or will William Barr or someone else get in the way? Interestingly Trump says “WikiLeaks is not his thing.” Really? Because, depending on which account you read he mentioned WikiLeaks 140-160 times on the campaign trail. Said he loved them. His son was in personal communication with Assange. Over – guess what? Spying! Spying on the Democrats and Hillary Clinton and her campaign.

So there was spying in the 2016 election. But it wasn’t of the Trump campaign but rather of Hillary and the Dems by the Russians aided and abetted by WikiLeaks in concert with Don Jr. and others, like Roger Stone.

There’s more, but enough for now.

About Me

Rick Kinnaird
I’m Rick Kinnaird, a writer of fictional adventure and travel. That means I write stories about things that never happened in places I’ve never been. This way facts don’t get in the way.
