Day 1378 – The Real Donald Trump
Wednesday October 28, 2020
6 Days until the election on November 3rd
86 Days until the Inauguration on January 20, 2021
Are you a Trump supporter?
Do you think the news is fake and that snowflakes and liptards won’t have the guts to post “Trump 2020” pictures that you put up on your Facebook page?
Well, I’m not afraid. I’ll post such pictures.
Here’s one for ya. Why it shows a “Trump Truck” being repossessed.

File it under “The Real Donald Trump”
Isn’t that what he calls his twitter account?
A buddy of mine used to say, “Reality is a cold place.”
It seems reality is coming to visit “the current president” (as Barack Obama calls him) and all the posturing and whining about fake news and people being unfair to him and people being terrible people (those who don’t swallow his lies hook line and sinker.)
Did you like the 60 Minutes where Satan said Leslie Stahl didn’t ask Joe Biden as tough questions as he was getting. Stahl told the president that she had never interviewed Biden. (Hey, Satan isn’t wrong is he? Am I right? Yeah. 4 more years! Make America Great Again, again…)
Did you like when he tweeted about the last moderator before the debate? Calling her a terrible person and all the usual lines he uses? Then he tries to compliment her at the debate telling Kristen she ws doing a fine job?
Seems to me the excrement is beginning to leak out of the bag. Not from the top but the seams. The bag of lies and untruths has so soddened the environment in which it is in that it is hard to hold it together.
But here’s a little reality for ya.
(I won’t tell you where I got it because I’ll be accused of “fake news” and being all them bad terrible things those folks addicted to Fox News say.)
The governor of Kansas issued a mask mandate on July 3rd of this year.
She’s a woman and a Democrat. Do you think the Republican legislature was going to listen to her? Heck no. Stand your ground. The mask mandate could therefore only be a request. Most counties opted out. That’ll show her. And show her it did, and the rest of the world.
Two weeks after the mask mandate went into effect the counties that did implement the mask mandate (and really implemented it, not just give it lip service) showed less people getting the virus than counties that ignored it. A difference of 50%!
The counties that ignored the mask mandate have a climbing number of cases with no end in sight while the mask mandated counties show the line flattening and trending downward.

Turns out there’s more to it. There are some area that only partially mandated mask wearing. Either they were late to adopt the recommendations of the governor or it was a situation where the county said no but a city within the county went along with the mask mandate. (They aren’t represented in the above graph.)
How’d that work out?
If those partial areas are included then the drop is 30%, not 50%.
The lady from the University of Kansas in charge of the study said she didn’t have to do any fancy modeling. It was right there, nothing fancy.
Here’s the whole report:

Hum. The takeaway?
Masks work. They work really well if everyone does them. They work okay if only some people do them.
Now let’s imagine what would happen if this had been an implemented statewide thing and the Republicans hadn’t stood in the way. You wouldn’t have infected people from unmasked counties wandering into masked counties spreading the virus so the effect of masking would be even better.*
Dare I say, you could actually get this thing under control?
*(But if you’d been paying attention you’d know this because the doctor who did the breakthrough work on HIV/AIDS had told us this months ago. ie – better to do it all at once than piecemeal.)
So what has the White House done? Mark Meadows, chief of staff for the president, and conservative pain in the ass when he served in Congress said that the White House was going to let the pandemic “run its course.”
What does that mean? It means they are going to keep doing what they’ve been doing. Nothing. That they are going to let the virus kill more people. That they are just going to say, “Oh well, nothing we can do.”
But wait! There is something the White House can do and has done. The president is going around the country babbling nonsense to packed spaces of mostly maskless crowds. So what happens? Why two weeks later wherever he has been sees an uptick in corona virus cases. I mean it’s not a subtle thing, like the masks in Kansas. It’s obvious and apparent. Remember when those meetings were called “Rallies”? Now they’re called, “Super Spreader Events.”
Reality can be a cold place sometimes.
“Mr. president, We have a situation. We’ve run out of hospital capacity.”
Vote Vote Vote. Make sure to take your vote to the county election commission. Don’t trust the post office to get it there in time.
David Plouffe said that if everyone can find two people who haven’t voted and aren’t planning to vote to go vote, and if that was repeated 100,000 times, or a million, imagine the consequences of all those little actions?
I get really uplifted when I see all the people on FB who are anti Trump and the huge number of people voting. On FB I know its because I have rid myself of all Trump lovers so I realize my FB is somewhat biased. Then I realize the huge number of people voting could also be voting for Trump. Worst of all is seeing the number of people congregating for Trump. I lose faith when I see that. The news media seems to delight in showing all his crowd. Yet when they show President Obama they never show the number of people. All this has be very worried that we will be stuck with Trump again.
