Day 468 – His Kind of Woman

I flipped on theTV for a few seconds and saw the end of His Kind of Woman.

A1951 movie staring Robert Mitchum, Jane Russel, Vincent Price, and Raymond Burr. Howard Huges was the big boss. The film ran way over budget because Hughes kept making changes and demanding odd things. This I learned from the host after the movie ended. He wrapped up by saying, “Which asks the question, ‘How does someone so erratic, so delusional, so incompetent become the boss?”

Yes, I wonder.

What this whole experience has taught me is that money-grubbing sycophants are ALWAYS available to attach them selves to a person like this, as are ideologues who realize that this person can easily be manipulated to do the project 2025 they have dreamed about for years. The extra part that I’m still getting used to is that somehow an incompetent erratic idiot can also make people fear his next move, so they obey out of unprincipled fear. NOTHING matters but their fear (unlike the people who stand up to him).

I just read an article in The Economist by Paul Dans. He is the billionaire that runs the Heritage Foundation. He said the goal of the Heritage Foundation was to destroy The New Deal. All this for the ordinary worker. The Progressives aren’t there for the worker, they are there to bilk the government out of money. Yet Heretics (what else can you call the Heritage jerks) want to have an incompetent, erratic idiot run this country.
