There’s a hurricane heading for Florida. Might hit Disney World. Missing both Trump’s golf course for the G-7 next year and his home, brushed Puerto Rico. Directly hit the Virgin Islands, not sure how Jeffy E’s house made out.

In celebration of Brazil’s new prime minister burning down the rain forest the Trump administration has issued instructions to allow the Tongas National Forest in Alaska to be cut down and mined. 

Also, Mr. Trump has told underlings to build the wall, steal the property, ignore the law and ecological restrictions because he’ll pardon them if there’s a problem. Meanwhile he’ll steal the money from somewhere.

And on the immigration front his administration has told kids with life threatening illnesses that they have 33 days to leave the country. If they leave, they will die. So they, the administration, is now issuing death sentences. Okay, this is like the people who advocate for anti-abortion stuff and gun rights saying they aren’t killing people when clearly they are (mothers of unwanted pregnancies and kids shot by gun nuts). Now, whoa, new angle. Send ‘em back and let ‘em die.

Will Florida get any aid for the hurricane? Will Rick Scott suck Donnie’s mushroom shaped (nevermind)?

Farmers are pissed at Trump and say they won’t vote for him again. That’s okay, by the time he’s done you won’t have a farm. Hey, how do you like the socialist (or is it Stalinist) agenda he’s put you on? Only the best baby! Oh, and his Secretary of Agriculture makes a joke at a farmers meeting, says two farmers in a basement would be call a “Whine Cellar.” Ha ha ha. For some reason, he got booed. Imagine that? 

For some reason Trump’s numbers are going down. I wonder why?

Actually, I wonder why he’s got any support, but hey, that’s just me.

To Summarize:

Hurricane to hit Florida. Trump does nothing.

Trump leaves G7. Trump did nothing.

Trump lets national forest be cut down.

Trump signs death warrants for thousands of sick kids.

Trump screws over farmers.

434 Days until the 2020 election and 516 days until the Inauguration

The G-7 meeting is over and other than Trump making an ass of himself and embarrassing our country, himself, and his wife not much happened.

It’s kind of like Johnson and Johnson who just got slapped with an over 500 million dollar fine, and the stock went up. Why? Investors were thinking it was going to be in the billions. Whew, what a relief. Labeled as one of the kingpins in the opioid crisis that so far has killed over 400,000 people in this country J&J got away with a half billion dollar fine – not bad.

That’s kind of like Trump at the G-7. Macron played him like a fiddle. “Maybe Mr. Trump can solve this problem for me? Oh thank you your magnificence.” Macron brought in the Iranian foreign minister to try and get some talks going. Trump likes to talk to others. So why not? 

Trump showed his ignorance on how tariffs work – over and over again. Then he lied about China calling him up and he said there were two phone calls. There were none. He lied. Then the White House staff in an attempt to clarify lied, and made up their own whoppers. Then various people close to the president got in the act and made stuff up. Not a bad day.

What will China do? Not hard to figure out. They’ll wait him out. They can afford to, Trump can’t. 

There were a lot of informal meetings at the G-7. Mostly so they didn’t have to include Donnie. The rest of the world is going on without us. We have lost prestige and influence. We are weakened and every day this clown makes it worse.

The biggest thing to come out of the G-7? Apparently, there was a conversation between world leaders as to whose wife was hotter. Yeah, that was the most substantive thing. The issue was unresolved.

We all keep thinking it can’t get worse, and then it does. This seems to be an endless barrel with no bottom. There was a report that in the not too distant future 95% of the Federal budget will go to servicing the debt these Republican clowns have been piling up. Remember Democrats cut the deficit, Republicans increase it. Been that way since World War II.

What else?

The Federal Election Commission does not have enough members to do anything. Two slots have gone unfilled by Trump, another just quit. This means they don’t have a quorum. The law says without a quorum they can’t do much. The president is supposed to appoint people but he hasn’t. Why do we need some agency overseeing our elections?

Remember when the Clinton trolls were jumping up and down because Hillary Clinton, then Secretary of State, had her picture taken with a Clinton Foundation donor? Never mind, that the person was in a position that it was perfectly proper for her as Secretary of State to have her picture taken with that person given his position within his own government. Emoluments! Treason! Sedition! 

Well, boy oh boy I bet those same folks are going to be really torqued up about this one.

Imagine if the President of the Untied States of America was on the take? Not like Spiro Agnew who was getting envelopes of cash delivered to him in his office as Vice President. Oh no, because you’d need a fork lift and pallets for this amount of money. Imagine if  the President of the Untied States of America had a note for a big pile of money and it was co-signed by a mobster. But not any mobster, a mobster directly connected to an adversary of  the Untied States of America? Boy, wouldn’t that get the patriotic blood flowing. Wouldn’t those people who were worried about Hillary be howling at the moon? 

And imagine that Congress got so feed up with this president that they actually decided to impeach him? What if those people claiming to be Christians got out their “Seven Deadly Sins” bingo cards and decided that this was too much? And what if a trial was held in the House of Representatives and this president was found to be guilty of “high crimes and misdemeanors” and the Senate leader did nothing?

Why would he do nothing? He and his state had been bought off too.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is where we are headed. But first. The new evidence. 

If you have been following the career of Mr. Art of the Deal you know that in most business things he loses money, a ton of money, like a billion dollars a year. So when no other bank would loan him money Deutsch Bank would. Why? Well, that bank is known to launder money for Russians. They’ve paid big fines for it. Nothing in comparison to how much they’ve made doing it. And let’s not forget that a Supreme Court justice retired because he feared a case coming up about this bank and his son, who worked for the bank and personally signed notes for these loans, might come before the Supreme Court and his dad, sitting on the court, would be the deciding vote and be faced with having to recuse himself or vote to send his son to prison, decided to retire. Thus we got party boy and accused sex offender Brett the K-man on the court, bringing the total of known accused sex offenders on the court to two. 

All of this has been known for quite some time. It has been greatly suspected that Deutsch Bank wasn’t really loaning the money as much as they were passing through money from Russian oligarchs to Trump. In other words, money laundering. It should also be pointed out that Wilbur Ross our esteemed Secretary of Commerce and most look a like for Mr. Dithers on the Simpsons sat on the board of the Bank of Cyprus, another well known money laundering operation, but hey, why bring that up now?

However, there’s new evidence about to surface, that Mr. Trump had taken out a loan of $125 million to buy the golf course in Miami that he wants to hold the G-7 conference at next year. Never mind that it is in the Constitution of the United States of America that a  the President of the Untied States of America is not to enrich themselves while in office by taking money from foreign sources. (It seems that Mr. Trump thinks it’s okay to commit crimes as long as you do it right out in the open. This is not news – btw.) And, of course, this is a perfect place to hold such an event, a drab golf course in between warehouses and industrial parks. A golf course that is one of Trump’s big revenue sources…except…except revenues are down – like 69% down. Whoops, Mr. Art of the Deal has struck again.

It turns out that Mr. Trump borrowed $125 million from Deutsch Bank and the note had to be co-signed, By … by … wait for it … a Russian oligarch. 

So what does this do to the speculation as to why Trump is doing everything he can to support Russia and Putin? Well, I don’t know. I mean if you have a choke collar around your pet and you yank on it the pet will jump and do what you command, right? Hum, seems that photo of Trump and Putin in leather bondage gear with a collar around Trump and Putin holding the leash was spot on don’t you think?

But what does he have to worry? 

Russia bought Kentucky and it seems they bought Mitch a long time before that. So, if McConnell won’t bring it up, what’s the big deal?

When it comes to Trump and this administration you really have to bifurcate the terrible things they do. There’s the Russian stuff and Trump, but then there’s the needless cruelty and inhumanity of Stephen Miller, the man who is closest to Himmeler in attitude and cruelty, but looks like a young Mr. Burns from the Simpson’s*. 

*In earlier posts I may have referred to him as Mr. Dithers. Dithers is the Lackey “Yes Man” of Mr. Burns. I regret the error.

Every time I think Trump can’t go any lower he figures out a way.

Aided by Stephen Miller, Mr. Trump has concocted the meanest, cruelest, most inhumane policy toward immigrants we have ever seen.

Yes, they put children in cages.

Yes, they have created concentration camps for people seeking asylum.

Yes, they rip children out of the arms of their mothers (so they can put said children in cages.)

Yes, they make these people drink out of the toilet and have to be taken to court to be ordered to give kids soap and toothbrushes. (The case, I hope, also included toothpaste, but who knows?)

But why stop at these measures? Certainly, there is something even worse? Something that will forever have Mr. Miller’s name next to Himmeler when it comes to cruelty?

He thought he had it when he came up with the boffo plan to ship spouse of active duty armed forces personnel back to their country of origin. (Temporarily on hold.)

But now! Whoa. That’s nothing. How about signing a child’s death warrant? Yeah! That’s the ticket!

Now the Trump Administration is going to stop allowing kids, who are in this country to get life saving medical attention they can’t get in their own countries, from staying in this country. 

That’s right, ship ‘em home and let ‘em die!

Way to go Stephen! This is the America you have created.

Day 963 Trump is an Idiot

For those of you who read my screeds on a regular basis you’re probably wondering about the title of this one. I mean it has been obvious from the outset that DT is not well balanced or that smart. He prefers his ignorance to learning. His behavior is childish and bullying. So why bring up what is obvious? That he is an idiot? 

Because we need to remind ourselves of this simple fact from time to time. 

There are those who do not watch real news. Who listen to lies and believe them and have no counter because they haven’t taken the time, or interest, to learn the facts. They don’t like the truth because it does not comport to their world view. 

Recently, I have been confronted with really ugly untrue things being said and relayed by people I know. It’s sad. I do point out, when I can, that the thing they are repeating is a lie. Not that they care, but it’s some little thing I can do.

No Beto did not say that.

Do you think making fun of someone who wears a different head gear than you who wear a baseball cap backwards is helpful?

No the president did not help disabled veterans by signing an executive order saying they didn’t have to pay their student debt. Obama signed a law in 2014 doing that.

Yes, Democrats voted not to give aid to veterans for their student loans because they needed to figure out how to pay for it first, which they did, and it was in New York State, not the Federal government.

But now we have had the G-7 and many are breathing a small sigh of relief that Trump didn’t do more damage than he did already. He has shown he is clueless on economics and tariffs. He has no real plan for confronting China. He abandons our allies and bolsters our adversaries. It seems he won’t say a bad word about Putin because it might still scotch his Moscow Tower deal. Don’t you like our president lying to us, and our allies, just so he can possibly make a buck in Russia?

Now the Agriculture Department Cabinet Secretary is reneging on promises to buyout scientists that they forced to either go to Kansas City where there was no where for them to work or to retire, who choose to retire. The little piece I was shown reported the “baffling” behavior of Secretary Perdue. What’s baffling? He’s a moron. He’s dismantling one of the premiere scientific agencies in the world because the alternate facts crowd doesn’t like the conclusions the scientists were coming to, and the president is a mean spirited nasty little punk. What’s baffling? If he can do something mean, nasty, and hurtful he will and his secretary will carry it out.

Meanwhile Melania continues to make headlines:

– there’s the meme of the lady in the long pink coat ignoring Trump and shaking Melania’s hand,

– there’s the picture of Melania in a yellow dress with two giant white circles with red streaks in them:  one on her shoulder and one on the opposite hip. The question was asked, “Who wore it better Ronald McDonald or her?”

– there’s the picture of her meeting Justin Trudeau with Trump looking toward the ground. She seems rather interested. The photo has been made into a mock Harlequin Romance book cover.

Then there’s the burning of the Amazon. Seems once a hard right prejudiced politician got voted in to head up Brazil it was taken as a sign that they could burn down the rain forest, 77,000 fires so far. What isn’t being talked about is the same thing is going on in Africa.

The Amazon rainforest has been called the lungs of the Earth. I wonder what happens if we run out of air? I guess some savvy person will figure out a way to bottle and sell it. No problem.
